How do I pay via PayID?
Updated over a week ago

PayID is available for domestic AUD transactions only.

To pay for your shares via PayID, nominate 'PayID' as your preferred payment method at step 6 of the investment application.

Alternatively, log in to your Birchal account and update your payment method to 'PayID' via 'My Portfolio' > 'Pending Applications' > '[Company Name]' > 'Add/Change Payment Method+'

Once you have selected PayID as your payment method, you can transfer funds from your bank account using the details provided on the screen.

The PayID provided is an email rather than an organisation ID. Your bank may require you to select 'Pay to email' or similar when choosing the payment method in your banking app or platform.

IMPORTANT: When paying via PayID, you must add your PayID reference number.* If you do not include your PayID reference number, your payment will fail and bounce back to your bank account.

*Your PayID reference number is different from your Investment Reference Number.

Please ensure you click 'I've Completed The Transfer' once you have transferred the funds so that our system recognises that your funds are on the way.

NOTE: PayID can take up to 5 business days to process. Please ignore any failed payment notifications or other messages until expiration of this period.

If you have any issues paying via PayID or forget to include your PayID reference number, please contact [email protected].
