From time to time, a direct debit payment may fail. We will retry to capture payment however it is often the case that bank details were entered incorrectly. To rectify this, we ask that you update your bank details.
To update your direct debit details, log in to your Birchal account and go to 'My Portfolio' > 'Pending Applications' > '[Company Name]' > 'Change Payment Method +'
Simply overwrite your bank details and click 'Confirm Payment Transfer.'
Birchal is not notified as to the reason why your direct debit has failed. You will need to contact your financial institution to find out why.
