Understanding Refund Processes, Investment Cancellations, and Wholesale Client Criteria on Birchal

Birchal provides clear guidelines for handling refunds, investment cancellations, and qualifying as a wholesale client. Below, we outline the key processes and criteria to help you navigate these aspects effectively.

Refund Processes

Withdrawing Funds from a Pending Application

If your application is pending and you cannot proceed (e.g., due to inability to prove wholesale investor status), the funds are held in your Birchal Wallet. You can withdraw these funds to your linked bank account at any time. For detailed instructions, refer to the Refund Guide.

Refund Timelines and Delays

Refunds for cancelled investments may take up to 2 weeks due to bank processing times after Birchal initiates the refund. If the investment was made via direct debit, the funds will be returned to the same bank account. Once the refund is initiated, the completion time depends on your bank's processing speed, which is outside of Birchal's control. If your refund hasn’t been processed after 21 business days, follow up with Birchal. Once processed, it can take up to 7 business days for the funds to reach your bank account. If delays persist, further investigation may be required.

Investment Cancellations

Refunds for cancelled investments follow the same process as outlined above. The timeline for refunds depends on the method of payment and the bank's processing speed. Customers are advised to check directly with their bank for detailed information about transaction timing if delays occur.

By understanding these processes and criteria, you can manage your investments on Birchal more effectively. For further assistance, consult Birchal's help guides or contact support.
