For one reason or another, if you're not able to provide us the authority to do a Direct Debit from an Australian bank account - we request that you transfer the funds directly to our bank account using your own virtual account located in your Birchal portfolio.

To do this, update payment details in your portfolio once you have completed your investment application.

How to update payment details in your portfolio once you have completed your investment application

  1. Complete your investment

  2. Go to My Portfolio

  3. Update Payment Details for the investment you've made

  4. Complete Bank Transfer manually using your unique virtual account

Find your Pending Investment & Update Payment Method:

1. Find your unique account information in your portfolio

It's really important that you use you own unique account details when completing a bank transfer - we use this to reconcile the transaction automatically.

See below a screenshot on viewing your bank transfer information in your My Portfolio page.

First, log in to your Birchal portfolio and go to My Portfolio - Pending Applications. Click 'add payment method' or 'change payment method'.


Next, click 'Australian bank transfer'. If this is your first time setting this up, you will see a green button that says 'create account'. Click this button:

2. Complete your transfer with the details provided.

Please make sure to click 'I've completed the transfer' once you have transferred the funds so our system is aware the funds are on their way.

Timeframe to confirm your investment

If the details were entered correctly, a bank transfer can take up to 5 business days to reconcile - so please ignore any failed payment notifications or other messages till after this period expires.
